In June, Veritech celebrates one year in its new home, the historic Invermay homestead in Pilloni Road, Griffith. CEO, Mr Livio Mazzon, talks about the move and how things are going 12 months on:
"The Invermay property is set on an acre of land and provides ample space for our current business operations and future growth. The homestead is a dynamic and inspiring working environment, which combines the latest technology with the classic features of the property.
We have ample space for our expansive workshop area, dedicated temperature controlled server room, storage and parking. Even the courier drivers are enjoying having so much space to manoeuvre their vehicles! Our clients often comment on how beautiful the grounds are – however none of them have yet offered to help with the gardening!
In December 2011, we chose to take advantage of the garden surrounds and installed a BBQ behind the office. Now that the weather is cooler, we have added a new automatic coffee machine in the boardroom. We are also working on reviving the fish pond and hope to have fish in there by summer. It really is the best of both worlds!
Invermay has given us everything we needed in terms of space and comfort, but it has also provided a wonderful atmosphere in which to work. The first year in Invermay has been very enjoyable and it has proven to be the right move for Veritech. We welcome all clients to pop in and have a look around the new offices – we might even let you test drive the coffee machine or BBQ while you’re here!"
