Griffith Company Leads the Way with Internet Security
Griffith, Australia – March 10, 2009: A regional IT company based in Griffith NSW, Veritech Corporation, has achieved a small coup by winning Australasian distributorship rights for the Endian range of Internet Security appliances.
Internet Security is now an unavoidable consideration for businesses of all sizes as the menace of viruses, hackers and spam are constant and unrelenting. Traditionally businesses have developed complex layers of protection from these threats, but a more modern approach is to consolidate all features into one self-contained appliance. Unified Threat Management, or UTM, is a relatively new term describing all-in-one systems which consequently allow reduction of costs, streamlined management and user simplicity.
Endian has quickly built a reputation internationally as an innovator in the development of UTM devices. Speaking from meetings at Endian’s headquarters in Milan, Livio Mazzon, CEO of Veritech Corporation, said, “Endian has produced a world-class security product and I’m delighted that Veritech’s relationship with Endian allows us to make this technology conveniently and economically available to all businesses, large and small, throughout Australia and the Pacific region.
Mr Mazzon also said, “Veritech intends to carry out the final assembly of all units sold throughout Australasia right here in Griffith. Software will be loaded and tested here, and Veritech will also expand laboratory facilities to help with the quality assurance processes required for each unit produced.
According to Mr Mazzon, Veritech will act as the wholesale distributor for the Endian range. Products will be stocked here and distributed to IT resellers across the Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. Veritech will also provide first-level technical and warranty support and replacements for all installations in Oceania.
The venture is considered to have enough merit to have been awarded funding for marketing from the NSW Department of State and Regional Development under their New Market Expansion Program.
Veritech’s official launch of the Endian Product range will be held at 4:45pm on Wednesday, 8th April 2009 at 102 Ortella Street, Griffith. Expected attendees include VIPs from Federal, State and local government sectors, as well as local businesses, some of which are already using the new Endian technology. There will also be a range of IT resellers from across the district who will be intently viewing the demonstration of the product’s abilities.
