History of the Veritech Building

Over 100 years ago The Driver Family pioneered their way into Griffith. Originally selecting a property named “The Cliffs” which was situated the subdivision we now call “Driver”. Today “Driver” is filled with modern houses and a shopping plaza.  Around 1900, The Driver Family moved to a homestead or ranch on farmland called “Invermay” in Yoogali. Naming properties was common for Australian landholdings in the early years.

After many years the house is still standing proud and currently the home of Veritech.

Veritech chose the property to set up its office because of the lush gardens, expansive grounds which will facilitate growth when it is needed.  The homestead itself has been expanded and modernised since the 1900s.... also has a air of elegance and provides clients with an impressive greeting when they arrive.  The rooms of the homestead lend themselves perfectly to an office environment offering open plan offices, as well as management and administration offices, a data centre, a testing laboratory/workshop and training room which doubles as staff amenities.

From one of the pioneering families of Griffith, now to a leader in technology in the region – ‘Invermay’ maintains its name as one of the milestone buildings in the region.

100 year’s on, Veritech continue to maintain “Invermay’s” proud heritage.
